Mimi was diagnosed in November last year with an aggressive form of Leukaemia which the doctors say is the hardest to get into remission. Work came to an immediate halt & she had to close down her business to start treatment. To make things even more difficult, one week after her diagnosis, her husband was unable to cope with the difficulties that are encountered from battling cancer & so he decided to leave Mimi & their two dependent children. The youngest has an existing health condition which can cause him to have seizures so a care provider must be with him at all times.
“Mimi has helped countless families all across Alberta through her work as a lactation specialist, IBCLC, LLL leader, administrator and coordinator at Birthing Magazine, and working with new moms in all stages.”
Due to her inability to work & her husband abandoning her & the children, the are in desperate need of donations to help cover daily living expenses, food & medical expenses. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and helpful in relieving the daily financial stress and worry brought on by this event in our lives!
